As many of you already know, Skype will be discontinued very soon. Cafetalk has suggested a few alternative platforms, including Google Meet and Lattep. For now, I’ll be conducting lessons primarily through Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.
 
I’ve decided not to use Lattep as my main platform just yet because it’s still under development, and I want to ensure that our lessons go as smoothly as possible. Also, at the moment, Lattep doesn’t support screen sharing, something we regularly use. Once the platform has been more fully developed and tested, I may reconsider.
 
In terms of transitioning, moving to Microsoft Teams might be easier for many of us since it allows contact and chat history transfers from Skype. On the other hand, Google Meet does not offer a permanent chat feature, so keep that in mind when choosing your preference.
 
Feel free to let me know which of the two options (Meet or Teams) you'd like to use when booking your lesson.
