Come journey with me into the beautiful world of Anne of Green Gables — known in Japan as Akage no An (赤毛のアン).
 

In this special seminar, we will explore not only the story itself, but also the music, culture, history, and atmosphere that helped shape Anne’s world on Prince Edward Island and in Atlantic Canada.
 

Together we will look at:
• the beloved musical version of Anne
• traditional music from Nova Scotia and PEI
• the famous film adaptations and their music
• the historical and community life that inspired the story
• and how music helps us understand Anne as a character in a deeper way
 

I will also share some of my own experiences visiting Green Gables in Prince Edward Island, along with music clips, stories, and cultural insights connected to Anne’s world.
 

Even if you already know Anne of Green Gables, I hope this seminar will help you experience the story in a new and meaningful way. And if you are newer to Anne’s world, I would love to introduce you to why this story continues to touch generations of readers around the world.
