Hello everyone! This is Giovanni.
Today, Italy has switched to winter time (standard time)!
The clocks have been turned back by one hour, marking the end of daylight saving time. As a result, the time difference between Italy and Japan is now 8 hours instead of 7!
What are the benefits of daylight saving time?
During spring and summer, making better use of natural daylight helps save energy. In Italy, it has been estimated that around 300 million kWh of electricity were saved thanks to daylight saving time.
Making the most of natural sunlight can help us save energy and make our daily lives a little more sustainable!
Which do you prefer: summer time or winter time?
Why not enjoy a friendly conversation in Italian about the differences between the seasons in Italy and Japan, and discover interesting little details about everyday life in Italy?
I'm looking forward to seeing you in my lessons!
Giovanni
