Due to having just started a new job as an art teacher, I don't have time anymore to accept new students. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Also, I might soon take a break from teaching online too for the same reason. To my current students: please contact me for available time slots!

Nice to meet you. My name is Yana and I'm a native Dutch speaker residing in the Netherlands. I have a Bachelor in Fine arts.

I have an interest in other cultures, and I love travelling. Learning languages for travel or other purposes is something I really enjoy.
I have a Certificate in Japanese JLPT N4. My recent passion is learning Bahasa Indonesia.

I have been a Dutch language tutor since 2015. From 2016 I have been offering lessons on Cafetalk.

My lessons are especially suited for beginners. If you have specific request, please don't hesitate to send me a message.

2022 Awesome Lesson Awards (Spring/Summer) →

When I began taking Dutch lessons, I was nervous because I did not know any Dutch. I was worried that a one-hour lesson would feel very tiring. But Yana made the conversation move along naturally and time passed by quickly. I have learned a lot of Dutch from Yana and my pronunciation is improving a lot because she listens carefully and makes corrections. I find it easy to understand Yana because she speaks clearly, uses English when necessary, and effectively uses Skype Chat. After the lesson, Yana takes time to review the material that we studied and she sometimes suggests resources that I can use on my own for review. I always look forward to my lessons with Yana because she is cheerful and fun to chat with.
