Nana.N Tutor Profile

This tutor is currently on leave.

Hello. My name is Nana.

Self Introduction:
After teaching my friends, who are foreigners, Japanese for about 2 years , I decided to become a professional Japanese teacher and I am currently taking the 420 Hours Japanese Teacher Training Course. When I finish it I plan to work full time as a Japanese teacher.

For the past 20 years I have worked in the medical field, so I have a broad knowledge of terms related to health care and nursing.

My hobby is to bake my own bread, make cakes or cooking in general. I also love sports. Right now I really love making bread.

Your Japanese level:
No matter what your level of Japanese is, you are welcome in my lessons.
If you are a beginner, we can start by studying greetings and self introduction. If your goal is to visit Japan, we can practice helpful phrases that you will need while traveling in Japan. I will gladly adapt my lessons to your needs and help you reach your goals no matter what your level is.

About my lessons:
During the lessons I will speak Japanese as much as possible. I believe that by doing that - even if it is difficult in the beginning - you will learn faster than if me mix English and Japanese. This way you will learn how to think in Japanese and understand it better. At first it might be a bit difficult but if you give your best it will be worth it.

The key to learning a language fast is to speak as much as possible. If you make some mistakes, that's fine! You can learn to understand your mistakes and get better by working on them. Don't worry about making mistakes and let's talk in Japanese together!

Types of lessons:
*Conversational Lessons (culture, foods, hobby, news, etc)
*Pronunciation Lessons
*Grammar Lessons
*Reading
*Listening
etc.

And finally:
I know that Japanese is one of the more difficult languages to learn. And learning a language takes a lot of time. In order to keep studying for a long time you need to be motivated to study. You will be more motivated if the lessons are fun. I look forward to helping you study Japanese while having fun with the language!
