My name is Ju Minie.
I live in Pusan, a port city in Korea.
Pusan is a seaside town, famous for its Pusan accent (사투리), and is my beloved home.
But there are still other places I can call home.
Hokkaido and Osaka.
As a student, the first time I was able to spend a long period of time in Japan was when I was studying in Hokkaido.
I had the chance to meet people from Hokkaido, who were calm but somehow strong, and to enjoy the great nature of the northen Japan, which at that time was not so well known in Korea. It was truly an unforgettable year!
After graduating, I started to work, but I decided to take another adventure and went on a working holiday in Osaka.
I started to live in Minoh city where you couldn't find many Koreans.
It was also a great place to live and I got to know a very lively and friendly Japan.
I am sure that you will want to learn Korean and further broaden your horizons. If you know the language, you will be able to understand the people of that country. It also makes you realize that people from different countries can become friends.
I hope that you will enjoy learning the Korean language and that you will experience the same warmth in Korea that I did in Japan, in the form of "feelings".
I used to teach English, and since 2018 I have been teaching Japanese as my main language, translating and interpreting for events and conferences, but I also have experience teaching Korean lessons to Japanese people in Korea. I am happy to have the opportunity to meet more people online through Cafetalk.
As a student of the Japanese language myself,
and as a teacher that has helped many learners,
I have noticed that there are some common rules to improve a foreign language.
I would like to share this know-how with you.
I would be happy to help you learn Korean more effectively☻
