My name is Mathias, and I'm a French teacher from France with over 12 years of experience teaching French as a foreign language.
I'm also a guitarist and composer, music is a big part of my life.
I'm passionate about travelling, cinema and the arts.
When I travel I enjoy going beyond the usual tourist spots and dicovering unknown places. I especially love talking with local people, and learning about their culture and everyday life. I'm always happy to talk about music, movies, arte, travel, food or pretty much anything else.
I currently live in France, and I speak French, English and Japanese.
Whether you're a beginner, an intermediate learner or more advanced, if you want to prepare for a trip to France, communicate in a professional environment, or have conversations with French friends, my lessons are adapted to your goals.
We'll focus in particular on conversation, vocabulary, and the expressions that French people actually use in everyday life.
We'll work with real-life situations to help you speak natural French and feel more comfortable using the language.
I lived and worked in Japan, where I taught French to many Japanese learners.
So I understand very well the difficulties you may encounter when learning French.
If you're a beginner, don't worry!
During the lessons, you're also welcome to ask questions in Japanese.
We'll study French together at your own pace, in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, and adapt each lesson to your level and your goals.
