Hi! I’m Erika. I enjoy teaching English! I lived in California, USA for most of my life. Now I live in Bangkok, Thailand where I’ve been teaching English for 7 years. I currently teach English at a language school, most of my students are working professionals from Japan. I have also taught at business corporations and a local university as well.

I’m easy going and my students feel comfortable with learning English in my class. My lessons are conversational, text book based or a combination of both - depending on the students’ request.

I am CELTA (Certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages) certified. I hold a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from a Canadian university.

I like to watch independent and foreign films. I enjoyed the movie, Color Me True - a Japanese comedy. I am also a fan of Hayao Miyazaki. I enjoy listening to Latin jazz, pop and occasionally, classical music. I like to work out regularly.  I like Zumba, Yoga, swimming, hiking. My hobbies include reading, I like to read non-fiction and fiction books.
