Hi, I’m Keith, a British ESL teacher from the North of England. Over the past 20 years of my life I have taught English in schools in China, Thailand, India, Kazakhstan, Russia and Italy. Now I live in Indonesia and teach exclusively online.
 
I am married with three kids and in my spare time I still love to travel, try new food with my family and make music. 

MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I started my teaching journey in India as a volunteer in an IELTS training academy. After that I spent a year teaching Business English in Moscow where I was observed in the classroom and was awarded with the schools in-house TEFL certification. Since then I have taught to all ages and levels from kindergarten to Business English in-company.  
 
REAL WORLD ENGLISH
My approach in lessons is for you to learn language naturally and each lesson is based around an authentic source like a Ted Talk, YouTube video, short movie clip or newspaper article. By using real-world materials you will learn real-world English.  
 
LESSON STRUCTURE
My lessons are always planned and well structured. 
 
Each lesson comes with a vocabulary list that I send to you the day before the lesson, a worksheet and a video or article.  
 
We will talk about the topic, discuss the vocabulary, and really dig deep to make sure you understand the content clearly and can answer the questions. Whether the lesson is watching a video or reading an article the goal is to build your vocabulary and confidence. 
 
As we work together I will also listen carefully to you to identify specific areas in need of improvement. I will never ignore your mistakes and we will work together to fix them.
