Hello! Nice to meet you, I’m Francesco!
I’m 39 years old and I was born in a beautiful town just outside of Rome, called Genzano, famous for its bread and for the “Infiorata”, a unique flower festival that attracts many visitors.
I’m an Italian film and theatre actor, and I teach Italian with passion to those who want to speak naturally and confidently.
My life experiences—especially through travel—have always allowed me to meet new people and connect with different cultures and ways of living.
My father was a flight attendant for Alitalia, so I had the chance to travel a lot growing up. I’ve been to Thailand 13 times, the US, much of Europe, Australia, Singapore, and also Japan.
I have a Japanese aunt who lives in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture, as well as cousins and Japanese friends I’ve met over the years.
Since childhood, I’ve always felt a special connection with Japan. I visited as a kid and I truly hope to return soon. I’m deeply fascinated by Japanese culture—from the language to the food, which is another big passion of mine.
Thanks to my mother and grandmother, I’ve learned how to cook, and I’d be happy to explain or even teach you how to prepare some simple Italian dishes, if you’re interested!
Maybe that’s also why I love helping Japanese students discover real, authentic Italian—the kind we use in everyday life, not just in textbooks.
Why choose me?
- I have professional acting experience and can help you speak with intonation, rhythm, and confidence
- I know what it means to learn a foreign language
- I love listening and adapting lessons to your personality and goals
- My approach is direct but always respectful. During lessons, we’ll use “tu”, like between friends!
I look forward to meeting you and helping you learn how to speak Italian!
See you soon! :) CIAO!
