My name is Ulas Yalcin(ウラス ヤウチン).

I am from England, London and have over 6 years of teaching experience in Japan.
I graduated in Games technology from University, so I specialise in game-based learning and gamification. I have developed many games and activities that encourage natural communication and language acquisition.
Games have goals and objectives. When we play games, we try to win by achieving the goals. Your goals for learning and improving your English skills can be viewed in the same way. So why not put them together and enjoy the process of levelling up your English skills?
My lessons involve lots of student talking time(STT), critical thinking and creative thinking. I want my students to build confidence and acquire English in a relaxing and engaging environment. I focus on conversational and practical English so I don't follow a textbook or workbook, I create my own curriculum.
