Hello! My name is Kathy, and I’m a native English speaker from South Africa. I have a degree in English and a certificate in teaching English as a foreign language. I previously worked as a nurse for 12 years and later, as a software developer in the supply chain management and financial industries. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking and going to the movies. 

My goal is to help you become a more confident speaker via a combination of clear, simple grammar explanations, engaging activities and guided speaking practice. 


Structure-based Lesson Plans 

Choose your lessons according to the structures or topics you want to focus on. 

I will meet you where you are, and challenge you to go a little higher with each lesson that you do. However, it will not be ‘all work and no play’. We will also have some fun along the way!

After the lesson

You will receive some friendly feedback, a summary of the lesson and some practice material.
