Hello! My name is Ellie! Nice to meet you. 

I'm from the USA, but I have been living in Japan for the past 12 years. I love living in Japan, making new friends, and eating delicious food! There are so many beautiful places to see and explore.

Here is one of my favourite places!

My hobbies are hiking, learning about new technology, and bouldering. It's funny because I love bouldering, but I'm also afraid of heights! I also love spending time with friends and chatting over a cup of coffee.

My teaching philosophy
My teaching philosophy is that students will learn best in a relaxing and challenging environment. I will encourage you to do your best, but in a fun and supportive way. I was an anxious student, and it is quite difficult to learn that way!
