Howdy! My name is David and I am originally from the United States. I have currently settled down in the Philippines and I have been living here for the past 7 years. Thank you for taking the time to check my profile.
About me:
I was born and raised around the Washington D.C. area but my parents are from New Orleans, Louisiana which is a fun and energetic southern city in America. I served 4 years in the US military which introduced me to various cultures around the world. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and take pleasure in learning different languages. I am a former collegiate basketball player and I also enjoy cars, customizing motorcycles, video games, and history.
Teaching Experience:
I have been engaged in online teaching almost everyday since 2014 and I don't have plans on stopping any time soon. I specialize in business and conversational English (Idioms, terminology, etc.), Tagalog (Filipino), and IELTS reviewing.
What to expect:
A friendly, educational, and engaging lesson. Teaching brings me a particular joy that is unmatched by any other job I have encountered, which is why it is very important to me. The more you learn, the happier I am!
