T.Riza Tutor Profile

Hello! My name is Riza, and I’m an ESL teacher who is passionate about helping students build confidence in using English. I am originally from the Philippines, and I am currently living in South Korea.

Before moving here, I lived in Minamisoma City in Fukushima, Japan, for eight years, where I taught English conversation classes to students ranging from kindergarten to adults. During my time there, I had the wonderful opportunity to experience and appreciate the beauty of Japan in many ways. Although I would have loved to stay longer, I moved to South Korea to join my husband. One of the main reasons I want to teach online is to maintain my connection with Japanese learners.

I specialize in creating engaging and supportive learning environments where students feel comfortable practicing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. My teaching approach focuses on clear communication, practical language use, and adapting lessons to each student’s level and goals.

I have experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds, and I enjoy helping students improve their pronunciation, expand their vocabulary, and develop fluency in real-life situations. Whether you are learning English for school, work, or travel, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way.

I believe that learning a language should be both effective and enjoyable, so I always strive to make my classes interactive, motivating, and tailored to your needs.
