About Me — Howard (known professionally as Bastien Howard)
Hello! I’m Howard, and I’m here to help you build confidence in English through friendly, relaxed conversational lessons that move at your own pace.
I’ve worked with learners of all ages across Spain — from lively school children in Alhaurín el Grande, Málaga, to dedicated adults preparing for their B1, B2, C1, and C2 levels at Trinity Academy. My approach is calm, supportive, and focused on helping you communicate naturally and confidently in real situations.
I live among the olive groves on my farm in southern Spain, where I produce extra virgin olive oil — a peaceful environment that brings patience, balance, and warmth into every class.
Before becoming a teacher, I spent over 30 years flying with international airlines around the world and across the UK, working as cabin crew, onboard manager, trainer, and interviewer. That experience taught me the importance of clear communication, cultural understanding, and professionalism — skills that are at the heart of everything I teach.
Alongside teaching, I’m also an actor and screenwriter, known professionally as Bastien Howard, with credits in both film and television. My creative background adds expression, storytelling, and authenticity to my lessons, helping students build natural fluency and confidence.
