Hello, everyone. My name's Taka.
I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Health and Exercise Science, wrote my Master's thesis in Japanese, have experience working on a peer-reviewed research paper that I published in English. My main research focuses when I was an undergraduate and graduate student were nutrition and weight-training, and I have learned a lot about how to lose weight and gain muscle. I also have experience in teaching Japanese to some of my friends who came to Japan from different countries.
I teach Japanese as well as give weight-training and nutrition advice to students on Cafetalk.

I am a native Japanese speaker, but I can speak English fluently; thus, if you want me to explain in English during our lesson, I would be happy to do that.
In my lesson, I would like to have a free conversation with you in Japanese and I can teach you how to write essays and graduate theses in Japanese, which is crucial for you to get a higher grade at your university, yet improving your writing skills by yourself is sometimes difficult. I have a lot of experience in academic writing not only in Japanese but also in English. I would like to help you become a good writer in Japanese.
And also if would like to improve your physique, I am here to help you, and I can teach you by combining scientific evidence and my own knowledge through personal experience.
