こんにちは。やすこです！
東京に住んでいる日本人です。
私は高校生のときにカナダへ1年間留学しました。
留学前は英語がほとんど話せませんでした。
でも最初のホストファミリーのお母さんはとてもおしゃべりな人で、お父さんもスポーツや政治の話が大好きでした。
毎日たくさん話しかけてくれて、私はいっしょうけんめい聞いて、少しずつ話しました。
間違えても否定されることはなく、会話の中で自然に正しい言い方を教えてくれました。
気がつくと私は、彼らの英語をどんどん吸収していました。
1年の留学で、おどろくほど会話ができるようになりました。
今思うと、あれが私にとって一番の語学レッスンだったと思います。
だから私のレッスンでも

を大切にしています。

【私の経歴】
福岡出身。
高校生のときにカナダへ1年間留学しました。
大学卒業後は東京で働きながら、日本や世界をたくさん旅しました。20代後半からはウェブディレクターとして、多くの人と一緒にさまざまなプロジェクトに関わってきました。
現在は東京を中心に、大学の教授や学生のみなさんと協力しながら大学のウェブサイト運営に携わっています。
異文化交流が大好きで、留学のときに感じた「会話から学ぶ楽しさ」が忘れられず、日本語講師に挑戦しました。

Hello! My name is Yasuko.
I’m a native Japanese speaker living in Tokyo.
I’m originally from Fukuoka, and when I was in high school I spent one year in Canada as an exchange student. At that time,I could hardly speak English at first.
My first host mother loved talking, and my host father enjoyed discussing sports and politics. They talked with me every day, and I listened carefully and slowly began to speak.
They never rejected my mistakes. Instead, they naturally corrected my expressions during conversation.
Before I knew it, I was absorbing their English more and more. After one year, I was able to speak much more comfortably.
Looking back, that experience was the best language lesson I have ever had.
That is why in my lessons I value
learning Japanese naturally through conversation.
You don’t need to worry about making mistakes.
We will enjoy conversation together, and I will support you naturally during our talk.
My Background
I’m originally from Fukuoka.
I studied in Canada for one year during high school.
After graduating from university, I moved to Tokyo and worked while traveling to many places in Japan and around the world.
In my late twenties, I began working as a web director and have been involved in many projects with different teams.
I also have experience as a computer instructor and a programming teacher for children.
Currently, I mainly work with professors and students at universities in Tokyo, helping manage and operate university websites. I also manage websites for several companies.
I love intercultural communication, and I never forgot how enjoyable it was to learn a language through real conversation during my study abroad experience. That is why I decided to become a Japanese conversation teacher.
