Hello! I’m Angie, a Colombian English teacher currently living in Japan. Nice to meet you!

I’ve always loved languages and communication. As a teacher, what I enjoy the most is helping students feel more comfortable expressing themselves, especially when they are afraid of making mistakes.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages (English, Spanish and French) a Specialization in English teachingand a TEFL/TESOL certificate.  I used to teach English in my country for several years and I used to live and work in the United States too.  


I'm currently teaching English in Japan, and studying Japanese, which has given me a valuable perspective as both a teacher and a language learner. I believe my experience as an English teacher, combined with my experience learning Japanese in Japan, helps me understand both sides of the language-learning process.


I hope we can meet in a lesson soon!
