Hello and welcome!

My name is Adelaide, and I am an experienced English teacher from Kenya with 17 years of teaching experience.

I hold a Master’s degree in Linguistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (English and Literature). Over the years, I have worked with learners at different levels and with different learning needs. Teaching English is not only my profession; it is something I genuinely enjoy.

I help learners improve their English in a practical, supportive and comfortable environment. Whether you want to become more confident speaking English, improve your grammar, expand your vocabulary, develop your pronunciation, or simply have meaningful conversations in English, I would be happy to work with you.

My teaching style

My lessons are friendly, patient and learner-centred. I believe you learn a language best when you have opportunities to actually use it.

I will encourage you to speak, ask questions and express your ideas without being afraid of making mistakes. When corrections are needed, I will explain them clearly and help you understand how to improve.

I can adapt lessons to your goals and level rather than giving every student exactly the same lesson.

  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
