Hello, my name is Eldo.
I majored in Korean Language Education at university and hold a Level 2 Korean Language Teacher Certificate.
I later earned a master’s degree in Language and Information Studies from Yonsei University, where I also wrote a thesis related to Korean language education.
During my university years, I took a year off from school and spent about a year in Canada.
While I was there, I worked as a Korean language teaching assistant at a college and a cultural center.
After graduating, I spent about a year teaching Korean language and Korean culture to high school students in Thailand through a program run by the National Institute for International Education.
I am always grateful to everyone who chooses to study Korean. Out of all the languages you could learn, you have chosen Korean and are taking the time to learn it.
To me, that is truly meaningful and something I deeply appreciate.
That is why I want my lessons to be about more than simply teaching Korean.
I want to help you achieve the reasons and goals that brought you to Korean in the first place Most of all, I hope the time you spend with me will be enjoyable.
I want learning Korean to feel less like a burden or something you simply have to do, and more like a positive experience that leaves you with good memories after each lesson.
I believe students can tell when a teacher genuinely cares about their lessons. That is why I will never take any lesson for granted, and I will value every moment we spend learning together.
Whatever your reason for learning Korean may be, I would be happy to be part of your Korean learning journey.
Thank you.
