Erika S Tutor Profile

Hi! I’m Erika. I was born and raised in Hawaii, lived in Las Vegas for 12 years, and now I’m living in Japan!

I’m a certified teacher in music and English as a second language, and I’ve taught students of all ages. I especially enjoy helping learners feel more confident speaking English in real-life situations.

My lessons are relaxed and conversation-focused. I believe the best way to improve is by actually using the language, so we’ll spend most of our time practicing natural, everyday English. I’m happy to talk about anything you’re interested in, like travel, work, hobbies, or daily life.

I also understand how challenging language learning can be. I’m currently studying Japanese myself, so I try to make lessons comfortable, encouraging, and fun.
