Hello, my name is Ege. I’m 28 years old, and I currently live in Italy.
I’m a TEFL-certified English teacher, and I’ve been teaching English for about five years. Alongside teaching, I am a molecular biologist and I continue my studies at the University of Bologna.
Before settling in Italy, I spent several years traveling and living in different countries. During this time, I had the chance to meet people from many cultural backgrounds, build meaningful connections, and experience how language brings people together. These experiences strongly influenced both my interest in teaching and my approach to communication.
Teaching English has been a very enriching part of my life. I enjoy getting to know my students, listening to their stories, and helping them express themselves more clearly and confidently. I value genuine conversation, and I believe learning works best when students feel comfortable, supported, and understood.
In my lessons, I aim to keep learning practical and engaging. Rather than focusing on rigid structures, I encourage natural conversation and active use of the language. I believe students make the best progress when they feel comfortable speaking freely and are encouraged to explore new ideas without pressure.
My role as a teacher is to create a calm and supportive environment where you feel comfortable speaking English, even if you make mistakes. I guide the conversation, help you find the right words, and adapt each lesson to your goals and level, so you can build confidence and fluency step by step.
Thank you for reading and hope to see you soon, good bye!
