I'm Coach Chrissy. I grew up in California, USA. I am currently living in the Philippines because of a special volunteer work that helps individuals and families from an Indian speaking community here live a happier life. I have been learning the Punjabi language for 15 years in order to fully help in this field.
I have lived for over 30 years in the U.S. and attended most of my schooling there. Because of having moved to a new country at a very young age, I can relate well to those learning a new culture and language. With hard work and determination, I was able to succeed in the field of English throughout high school and surprisingly, was placed in Honor's level classes.
Later, I earned an Associate's of Science Degree in the field of Dental Assisting along with a registered license performs duties such as x-rays from passing my board exam.
I have had at least 2 years of experience in teaching English to Japanese students online. I really enjoyed teaching online, getting to know my students, and seeing them happy with results of their progress also brought me joy.
A warm, respectful, friendly, flexible, and patient environment is what you can expect in my classes. I also believe in being goal oriented, so I will encourage you to keep advancing, by keeping your motivations clearly in front of you. We can combine free talk with a structured way of learning.
I would like to personalize each class to your current English level. Please take the English Assessment Class so that we can see where you level is currenty.
I will prepare lessons for you with your needs in mind. I also would like to give you a copy of each lesson for you to practice each day to continue your progress :-).
Because I also receive weekly training on my volunteer work in effective teaching styles and communication, I am also able to use this training a teacher. From this trainining, I learn to be the best teacher I can be from the inside of my heart.
I look forward to talking with you, getting to know you, understanding your personal concerns in your English language journey.
