Hi there!
My name is Balery, but if you want you can call me Bale. I live in Peru, exactly in the capital city, Lima. I studied two professional careers; Hotel and Restaurant Management at the San Ignacio de Loyola Institute and Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the Peruvian North American Cultural Institute. I also have a Spanish teacher certification accredited by the Cervantes Institute. In the last 4 years I have been teaching online and previously 3 years teaching in person.
I love teaching my native language, Spanish, since it is a language that is spoken in different countries in America and also in the European country of Spain.
I teach children, teenagers and adults. I teach children from 3 years old and adults of any age. I’m also qualified to prepare my students for international Spanish exams such as SIELE and DELE (school and university).
In a children's class I like my students and I to have fun learning together. In a class for young people, I like my students to share their hobbies with me so that I can put together a class according to their interests and make it more enjoyable. And in an adult class I also like my students to share their personal tastes, current topics of interest, professional and business topics if they are focused on that area.
As a Spanish teacher, it is vitally important for me that my students develop all the skills in the language they are learning. It is not enough to learn the grammar of a language but also to put it into practice when speaking and understanding what the speaker wants to express. Likewise, work hand in hand on the writing and good spelling part.
In my free time I play the violin and practice tennis. I also like to paint and do letter design called “lettering”. I really like desserts and taste food from different countries.
I like to laugh with my students so that they feel very comfortable and happy in class. I can not only be your teacher but also your friend. On the other hand, I want you to know that I am not only your teacher during class time, but that you can count on me as a teacher all the time. That means I am your teacher 24 hours a day. You can text me at any time and wherever you are in the world, I will always be very happy to help you and answer any questions or tasks related to our course.
