Teaching is my passion and understanding my learners and meeting their specific needs is my drive! I aim my lessons to cater for the individual demands of my learners.
I am a highly motivated TEFL trainer, a clinical psychologist and an ambitious medical personnel aspiring to deliver best solutions when faced with any challenge. I am a NATIVE speaker from Nigeria, who is certified to teach English as a foreign language(TEFL), I have 4 years of experience teaching offline and online, in both one on one and group sessions. I am eloquent in English, Chinese, Swahili and Yoruba.
What do I bring to the table?
I offer Conversational classes, Vocabulary building, General English, English for Business, English for Travel, Studying Abroad guidance etc. Let me know what you would like to know so that I can get things ready for you.
What should you expect?
Well, With all my regular students I like to set homework to write something about what they have been doing in the week since we last spoke, or about any topic they are interested in. I believe this gives my learners the opportunity to practice their writing, and then when we have a lesson they can read what they have written aloud, giving them the chance to practice speaking. After they have finished reading we can talk about pronunciation and flow, before having a look at the writing itself and discussing any editions we can make to grammar or vocabulary.
This has been a very successful exercise which we often have a lot of fun with, you can write as much or as little as you would like!
If you have any material you have to prepare for work or school, we can also look at that together too!
I believe learning is a continuous process, somewhat like a roller coaster with its ups and downs. Remember, it's the bumps and twists that make the ride more exciting and memorable!
