Hello! My name is Miriam, and I am an experienced educator and tutor with over 13 years of experience working with children, young learners and adults.

Teaching is something I enjoy because I love seeing that moment when a student

understands something that once seemed difficult. Over the years, I have taught learners of different ages, abilities, and learning styles, and I have learned that every student needs a slightly different approach.

My lessons are friendly, patient, interactive, and focused on the individual learner. I take time to understand what a student already knows, where they are struggling, and what they would like to achieve. I then structure my lessons around their needs and learning goals.

For Maths, I help students develop a strong understanding of concepts rather than simply memorising steps. We can work on topics such as arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, geometry, measurement, algebra, word problems, and other school-level Maths topics.

I also enjoy helping learners develop their English communication, reading, grammar, and speaking skills. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, practise, and improve.
