Jonas Perfil del(de la) tutor/a

Hello & こんにちは! I'm Jonas, a German teacher from Germany.
I lived in Osaka for four years and have many years of experience teaching German to Japanese students.
My goal is to help you speak German more naturally and confidently — without being afraid of making mistakes.

During my time in Japan, I worked at two English conversation schools (英会話) and also taught German privately to Japanese students. This experience helped me understand many of the questions and challenges Japanese learners face when studying German.

My lessons focus on practical conversation, natural pronunciation and useful German for real-life situations. I speak clearly and adjust my speed and explanations to your level, so you can learn at your own pace.

For vocabulary learning, I have developed my own visual flashcard system with hundreds of original German vocabulary cards created especially for Japanese learners. They make it easier to connect new German words with images and remember them naturally.

I also have experience helping students prepare for Goethe German exams, so we can work on exam-related vocabulary, speaking practice and other areas you would like to improve.

Having lived in both Germany and Japan, I especially enjoy talking about everyday life, travel and cultural differences. If you're interested in Germany, I'm also happy to share what everyday life and culture here are really like.

Things I enjoy: traveling, Japanese culture (茶道・建築・着物・和食・紅葉), movies and dramas, music, food and discovering new places.

If you'd like to improve your German in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, I'd be happy to meet you in a lesson.
