みなさん、こんにちは!
My name is Thy (ティー), as in "tea" but I like coffee too!
I am from Montreal, Canada. Japan was my home for 4 years before I recently moved to Australia. I now live in beautiful Melbourne! Here are some of my passions:
1. Travelling
When I was a little kid, I was very curious about other cultures and dreamed of exploring the world. I am now making this dream come true! So far, I have been to more than 50 countries.
My favorite countries are: Japan, Israel, Turkey and South America in general.
My traveling style is a bit unconventional. I like to go off the beaten path and become friends with local people. In most countries, people have welcomed me into their homes without asking anything in return.
I really believe that if you open your heart, people will open theirs.

2. Middle Eastern music
I absolutely love Middle Eastern music, especially Iranian percussion. I've been learning to play the daf, a beautiful drum from Iran:
Kyoto, Japan
My second favorite instrument is the gong. I completed a gong master training in England, followed by a gong teacher training in Slovenia. Before coming to Japan, I used to work in festivals and other venues in Europe, Canada and Israel as a gong player and sound healer.

3. Language learning
I've been learning languages since as long as I can remember, so I understand very well the challenges that students face when studying a foreign language.
I am currently learning Japanese, which is now at an intermediate level. My goal is to speak Japanese with confidence. I would love to learn Persian, Turkish and Arabic in the future.
4. Self-care
Self-care is very important to me. I enjoy doing yoga and meditation, cooking healthy meals, journaling and reading self-development books.
