Hello! My name is Bontle Malapane, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself. I'm a 24-year-old South African with a unique blend of skills and passions. As a holder of a Diploma in Civil Engineering, I've developed a strong foundation in technical skills and problem-solving. Professionally, I've worked as a Civil Engineering Technician, where I've honed my communication and project management skills.
However, my true passion lies in teaching and music. As a singer, I've learned the importance of expression, creativity, and connection. I've found that these skills translate beautifully to the classroom, where I can inspire and support students in their language learning journey.
To pursue my passion for teaching, I've obtained a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate. I'm particularly excited about teaching English online, as it allows me to combine my love of language, culture, and technology. I'm eager to share my enthusiasm and expertise with students from diverse backgrounds and help them achieve their language goals.
As an English teacher, I've had the privilege of working with students across various age groups, each with their unique energy and learning styles. I teach kids (5-12 years old) through fun activities, games, and songs, helping them grasp the basics of English. For beginners (13-16 years old), I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Intermediate learners (17-25 years old) refine their language skills through writing, speaking, and listening exercises. Adults (26-55 years old) work with me to achieve specific goals, such as improving language skills for work or travel. Finally, I provide customized lessons for professionals, catering to their industry-specific needs and enhancing their communication skills.
My teaching style is a student-centered, interactive, and adaptive approach that fosters a love for learning and promotes academic excellence. I tailor my teaching to meet the individual needs and goals of each student, using a range of tools and techniques such as discussions, role-plays, games, and multimedia resources. I'm flexible and willing to adjust my teaching style to meet the changing needs of my students, providing extra support or challenges as needed. Ultimately, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that builds confidence, develops resilience, and helps students achieve their full potential.
