Hello, my name is Deborah, I am from Birmingham in the United Kingdom & speak with a native British accent! I am passionate about helping students improve their English and welcome all learners. I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Business and Management and TEFL certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign language).  

My teaching style is very inclusive. I have a warm and friendly approach to teaching. I consider the needs of the learner whether they are kinaesthetic, auditory, or visual. I use different techniques to accommodate the learning styles and a variety of resources to make my lessons interesting, fun and enjoyable. I am very patient and welcome mistakes, which I like to call ‘learning curves’, as once the mistake is made, we learn from it and move on. I am passionate about helping students to achieve their lifelong learning goals to enable them to be the best they can be.

All lessons are tailored around your needs. They are designed around your goals and intended to help you achieve your learning objectives. Once we have established your needs and wants for learning English, we will start putting things into practice. Whether it’s to increase your communication at work and get that well paid job, off to university, to live and work in a different country or everyday conversation. We will work together in getting you there offering you support, motivation and encouragement every step of the way.
