Hello there! My name is Kimberly Shyne Teope, but you can call me Teacher Kim. I’m from the Philippines, and I’ve been teaching English online for more than three years. I’ve worked with several ESL companies where I taught students of different ages and backgrounds — from children to young professionals. These experiences helped me understand that every learner is unique and deserves a lesson that fits their goals and personality.
As a teacher, I would describe myself as patient, friendly, and encouraging. I always make sure my students feel comfortable and confident during our lessons. I love keeping my classes interactive, relaxed, and fun, while still focusing on improving pronunciation, grammar, and conversational skills.
In my lessons, I enjoy using real-life topics and simple examples so students can practice English that’s truly useful in daily situations — like talking about hobbies, travel, or even their favorite food!
Outside of teaching, I enjoy listening to music, watching motivational videos, and spending quiet time reflecting or learning something new. I believe that learning English is a journey — and I’ll be here to guide, support, and cheer you on every step of the way. I hope to meet you soon in class!
