Welcome Dear Students! 
    Hello! How are you doing today? I'm Mary and I would love to have you in my class. For over 12 years of teaching experience, I've learned that knowing English is different from knowing how to teach it. It takes effort and time to master not only the way to teach a language but also the ability to get a student’s heart. 


Teaching Experience and Qualifications
  I currently obtain a teaching license for English teachers in high school and elementary schools in the Philippines. I started teaching English when I was a university student and continued to teach English to people from different parts of the world until the present. I’ve handled students with different age ranges and language abilities. The highest job position I've had was being a manager for an English language school for Japanese in the Philippines.　I was assigned to train teachers, make a curriculum for students, do the students` level tests, conduct job interviews, process legal documents, and more.

 

Teaching Strategies

I can offer different activities for students depending on their needs or goals. I have Grammar lessons, Pronunciation classes, Conversation classes, Listening/Reading news articles, Callan Class, Side by Side/ Let's Go textbooks-based lessons, Picture Description Class, Role Playing classes, TOEIC and EIKEN lessons, and many more.  We can also use your own materials by sending a copy or description of them before your reserved lesson. I usually give a level test to find appropriate materials for a new student. Please don’t hesitate to speak English and practice with me. Thank you, and I hope I get a chance to meet you soon.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
