Hello! My name is Jenny (ジェニー). I was born and raised in the United Kingdom and have a bachelors degree in Japanese Studies. In my free time, I like watching Japanese and Korean dramas with my husband. I also like watching cooking videos to improve my own cooking skills.

I have lived in Tokyo for two years and during that time I have taught English to students between the ages of 11 and 60. This included teaching students in proper school classrooms, professional businessmen in well-known companies, and one-on-one conversational lessons in cafes.

I learned Japanese from scratch when I was at university so I understand how hard it is to learn a new language; it is even harder when you aren't able to practice with a native speaker. That is why I would like my lessons to concentrate on natural everyday life English conversations (one-on-one). Here, we can talk about absolutely anything: from what you did today to detailed discussions on a topic of your liking. Of course, at the same time, I will help you with your pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. My goal is to help you gain fluency and confidence when conversing in English.

Before starting a proper lesson, I would highly recommend you take the Consultation lesson with me first; this will help me determine your English level and we can discuss what you would like to achieve at the end of the day.
