Pay attention !!, I have prepared a one-coin(500P) lesson for beginners only.
This is a lesson for those who want to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and those who want to learn business Japanese. We will support you until you achieve your goals.
Hello. I'm Michikaze Sensei, a Japanese language teacher.
[About me]
I graduated from Waseda University in 1982 and worked for a major city bank for 23 years. After that, I am now an active finance and general affairs professional who has worked for nearly 20 years as an executive officer in the financial and general affairs departments of a service industry company.
[Japanese language teaching experience]
While working as a businessman, I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Examination and have been working as a Japanese language teacher since 2022 in order to teach Japanese to young foreigners who want to study Japanese and work in Japan.
Many of my students are young foreigners living in Japan, including business people who are aiming to pass N1 with the aim of changing jobs or stepping up, and graduate students who want to further improve their Japanese after passing N1.
[Qualifications, etc.]
Passed the Japanese Language Education Proficiency Test
Passed the Guide-Interpreter Test (English)
1st-class Financial Planning Technician
Passed the Securities Analyst Test
Japan CFO Association "General CFO" and "Global CFO"
Telephone-class (4th-class) amateur radio operator
[What I am passionate about]
① Travel: I travel within Japan 2-3 times a year. I'm close to conquering the whole country, from Hokkaido to Okinawa. I try to travel at a leisurely pace.
② Mountain climbing: I'm a beginner, but I've decided to climb Mt. Fuji before I turn 70, and I'm going to challenge it this year. Considering my age and physical strength, I'm joining a tour for safety.
③ Sports: I like golf. I have a score that everyone loves. In addition, I started going to the gym last fall and am also trying muscle training and yoga.
④ Reading: I started reading as a hobby when I was transferred to a separate place 20 years ago. I love history, and I'm particularly interested in ancient and modern Japanese history.
⑤ Vietnamese: One of my students happens to be from Vietnam, so I started studying Vietnamese so that I could be on the same level as my students as a foreign language learner. Pronunciation is difficult. I can't remember the words very well... For now, I'm studying on my own, mainly on the train during my commute, using books and YouTube.
[My Strengths]
My strength is my long career as a businessman spanning over 40 years.
Based on that work experience, I provide practical business Japanese instruction, such as common sense in society and companies, and appropriate use of honorific language, which is not a little different from young teachers who only specialize in language and Japanese language education.
My specialty is "exam preparation." I have a track record of overcoming many qualification exams, such as guide-interpreter and financial planner. I think that I can use my experience of "how to win" in such exams to help students who are especially targeting passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
[Lessons offered]
As for how I teach, I will create a curriculum that suits each student's level and goals.
First of all, as part of exam preparation, we will conduct practice sessions focusing on past exam questions. If you wish, we can focus on the subjects you want to improve, and you can bring in the textbooks and problem sets you want to study. Please feel free to ask us anything. Let's discuss what to do and how to proceed towards the next exam date.
In addition, from my experience, the most important thing in exam technique is to do past exam questions. If you are aiming to pass the exam in a short period of time, you need to solve the questins set before attending the class.
Secondly, in addition to exam preparation, we will learn natural Japanese for various situations and strengthen your business Japanese skills. In addition, we will learn how to use honorific language and technical terms that are applicable in each business Japanese area according to your wishes, and strengthen your language skills so that you can express yourself well in any situation. We have a variety of study menus available, so please feel free to challenge yourself to do whatever interests you.
There are many things I cannot tell you here. Please try my lessons. I look forward to meeting you.
