Hi, I’m Cheryl from England. I teach authentic English.

I was an English teacher in Asia for 11 years but now I live in England and connect with students online. My bachelor’s degree is in Music with Vocal Teaching and I have TESOL and TEFL certificates. I am a very friendly and patient teacher who loves conversation and hates wasting life. 

You can learn general English skills with me. We can also learn English for your specialism or favourite subjects. You will think and speak a lot in our class! I will teach you how to make natural sentences and choose the right vocabulary. 

For every class, I will write a detailed document for you to review. I will show you how to preview, review and learn effectively. You will feel more confident and speak more clearly! 

When having a conversation, the time will fly by so quickly because you’re having great fun! I know how to slow down or speed up the conversation according to your ability.

My personal life experiences also inform my teaching. I know a lot about volunteering and charity work, as well as expat life and cross-cultural communication. 

I also have experience learning Thai and Korean. I know how it feels to use a second language. We can overcome any difficulty together!
