Hi, nice to meet you!
My name is Shibashiba.
Whether it's English, French or Japanese, you learn a language by using it often.

The four skills of reading, listening, writing and speaking are all interrelated.
Among them, reading and writing help us to improve our thinking skills. Reading and writing skills do not differ much between languages. Once you have acquired them, they last a lifetime.

It's not always fun to keep studying. Sometimes you might hit a wall. I will help you to overcome it and keep studying. Because behind that wall there is a different landscape.

I write a regular column under the pen name "Gaikokugojin" for "Read and Learn English Magazine/Cheer up! English".

I have worked as a Japanese language teacher, a teacher at a major cram school, a corrector, an interpreter, a translator (English, French and Japanese) and an English coach.
I have a TOEIC score of 985.
My major at university was French literature.

I have translated TV scripts, French poetry into Japanese and co-translated contemporary Japanese poetry into French with a Frenchman.

Passed the Japanese Language Teaching Proficiency Test approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
(A qualification for teaching Japanese to people from other countries)

I have lived in France and Belgium for more than 15 years.
I am happy to give advice to those who are thinking of studying abroad or living in a different culture.

English coach at a company since 2018.
More than 10 years of experience as a Japanese teacher.
