Hello!
My name is Riccardo and I'm from Norwich, which is a tiny city filled with churches and castles in the East of England. At the moment, I teach Philosophy and Religion at the Royal Latin School in Buckingham. I often deal with students whose first language is not English and I love helping pupils develop their language skills and improve their speaking.
I grew up in a family where my father could not speak English very well and this has led me to really want to help people improve their ability to articulate themselves well in English, as well as being very good at getting people to help speak and pronounce words correctly. I'm a very relaxed and friendly teacher and also have a master's degree from the University of East Anglia, as well as a CELTA from the Norwich Institute for Language Education and a PGCE from Brasenose College, University of Oxford.
In my spare time, I enjoy fencing and swimming and I also like to read a lot of books. My favourite book is the Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien!
My promise to my students is that I always give them lessons that are fun, exciting and enjoyable as well as challenging. I look forwards to meeting you soon! At the moment, due to a busy work schedule, I am only accepting proofreading students. My apologies about this, and please just send me a message or request a lesson if you need any help :)
