Hi Everyone. I'm HIROSHI and I’m a jazz pianist, composer, arranger.
I graduated from Berklee college of Music in 2010 and 2018, got a Bachelor of music degree in Jazz composition/Performance and Artist Diproma in Performance.
In 2014, I won the wildflower international piano competition Jazz solo piano professional and, In 2015, First prize in jazz composition divisions of Niigata Jazz Contest in Japan. In 2016, my composition was chosen as one of best jazz composition from Berklee jazz composition department.
During our lessons, we will focus mainly on jazz, popular, —whichever songs you’d like to try playing. If you have tried reading jazz piano reference books but had a hard time understanding or picturing how to go about it, I will help explain it in a way that makes it easy to understand. I’d like to give lessons that will help you come up with new ideas.
If you can play classical music, but are trying jazz for the first time
If you are playing piano for the very first time
If you want to learn how to play improvisation
If you want to learn how to arrange music
If you want to deepen your understanding of chords
If you are composing music and need help with a specific spot
or if you simply want to get started playing!
Please let me help you get to the next step!
