Hello everyone!
[Visitng Kyoto in 2018]
Introduction
My name is Jon Mitchell. I am 29 years old and I live in New York City. I work in film and TV production and I referee soccer. I have been studying Japanese for over 5 years. Through language exchange groups I have met many Japanese people who are learning English and have gained experience helping them to better understand English. I want to continue helping Japanese language learners because they have been so helpful and kind to me in my language learning journey.

Professional Experience
My training and expertise is in the creative field. In college I studied music business and entreprenuership and transitioned into the film and TV industry after graduating. While I do not have formal teaching experience, I have often tutored my Japanese peers who are learning English. So, I am familiar with how to help people learning English improve their pronouciation, vocabular, and grammar.

Teaching Style
I use a friendly and casual teaching style. English can be soooo difficult. There’s tricky pronunciation, complicated grammar, and really weird idioms. But don’t give up, do your best, you can master it!
I look forward to working together with you so we can improve your English skill! :)
