Hello and bonjour!
My name is Jacqui, which is short for Jacqueline. I'm from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I've been teaching for over 18 years in both Canada and in Asia.
I started teaching in the Philippines in 2015. Before moving to the Philippines, I worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, a remote community just outside the Arctic Circle. Temperatures there get as low as -50°C and we only had 2 hours of daylight in the middle of winter and 23 hours of daylight in the summer!

My style of teaching is dynamic. I believe that teaching should be personalized and that flexibility is an important element to be kept in mind. My goal is to help you speak and write as much like a native speaker as possible.
