After I finished my doctor's program at a university in Japan, I studied abroad at University of Mannheim in Germany. During that time, as I had to write my Ph.D. dissertation in German, I also went to language school to study German. I've received my Ph.D. degree and now I live in Tokyo.
I didn't know any German in the beginning but I accomplished my Ph.D. dissertation in German.
