Oi, I'm Jefferson! I'm a certified Brazilian Portuguese teacher with four years of experience teaching both face-to-face and online classes from my home base in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I teach (+20) Adults and Seniors; I work as a full-time online Brazilian Portuguese Teacher for foreigners; I can help you develop your language skills, regardless of your Portuguese level; I can teach you: Grammar, Vocabulary, Speaking (Pronunciation, Accent), Writing, Listening Comprehension, and Reading; Things I like: Other cultures; Psychology; History; Art; Internacional cuisine; Movies; Beach; Dogs. ? Having graduated from university in 2019, I embarked on a fulfilling journey in the education field, specializing in language teaching. Over the past 4 years, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, teaching both Portuguese and English in various settings. I've gained valuable experience teaching face-to-face classes in public and private schools in Rio de Janeiro, and have also had the opportunity to teach Portuguese to foreigners and English to Brazilians through online platforms. Through my work, I've grown both as a professional and as an individual, and I remain committed to inspiring and empowering my students to achieve their language learning goals. ?
I will help you: Talk to Portuguese native speakers; Learn Grammar, Reading, Writing, Listening Comprehension, and Vocabulary by having fun with interactive materials; Improve your Pronunciation and Accent; Understand the Brazilian culture. ? What you'll experience if you choose me as your teacher: I'll focus on your needs and language skills you would like to develop or improve; Grammar is important and I can teach you in a fun way with audiovisual content; Interactive and dynamic classes on Presentation slides - PowerPoint - PPT; You'll see that you'll be speaking Portuguese since day 1; Correction and encouragement; Homework assignments.
