About Me

Hello and welcome to my ESL corner! I'm Anny from South Africa, your dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. With a passion for languages and a commitment to helping you succeed, I'm here to make your English learning journey enjoyable and effective.

I am a certified ESL teacher with over 3 years of experience teaching English to learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced speakers, and ranging from children to teenagers and adults. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Science with Genetics as my major and a Postgraduate diploma in Marketing and Supply Chain Management.

 

My background in tutoring science, and language teaching has equipped me with a deep understanding of language acquisition and effective teaching techniques.

 

I love learning about different cultures and cuisines, travelling, reading books, and interior designing.

Me as a Teacher

Learning a language is a journey, not a destination. As your teacher, I'm not just here to impart knowledge; I'm here to empower you with the skills and tools to continue growing even after our lessons conclude. My aim is to equip you with the confidence and abilities needed to navigate the English-speaking world independently.

 

Language is more than just words; it's a gateway to understanding cultures, connecting with people from around the globe, and broadening your horizons. With my guidance, you'll not only become fluent in English but also gain insight into the nuances of language within different cultural contexts.

I understand that every learner is unique, and I'm committed to tailoring our lessons to ensure your progress is both enjoyable and effective. Together, we'll identify your strengths and areas for improvement to create a customised learning plan.
