Hello!
I’m Zeeshan Mujtaba and I'm thrilled to invite you on an exciting journey to master the English language. As a non-native English speaker myself, I understand the challenges you may face on this language-learning journey. But fear not, because I've not only conquered those challenges but excelled to a C2 proficiency level. Whether you're a beginner or looking to polish your language skills, I'm here to guide you every step of the way."
I began teaching formally in 2018 as a Cambridge O Level English teacher.
The teacher-student relationship is a special bond, and a very rewarding experience. Being able to connect with the student, understand their need and helping them grow is a fulfilling process. And I get to learn as well, every time. I believe that successful teaching can only happen when the teacher and student work as a team, each acknowledging and playing their part in the process; learning, growing, and achieving together.
I've taught in classrooms of 30+ students, as well as smaller groups and one-to-one sessions; I personally feel one-on-one interactions are the most productive, since I get to focus all my efforts on one student and give them personalized assistance.
I also have experience teaching both face-to-face and online, and am able to comfortable conduct classes in both settings. In fact, sometimes, teaching online allows for an extra edge - to be able to include resources from the internet as part of the lesson, which may not always be possible during in-person classes.
My academic background:
I have had the opportunity of studying internationally, and that has helped me grow personally, as well as develop and hone my skills.
I completed my Cambridge O Level from Pakistan, Edexcel A Level from United Arab Emirates, and B.Sc. Biochemistry from McGill University - Canada.
On that note, my professional qualifications include:

CiSELT Advance (British Council)
*IELTS Academic (Overall Band 8.5)
I always enjoyed English, considering it as my second mother tongue; reading, and especially writing – for me, that's where the creativity flows. Teaching it is very different, but I rose to the challenge and learned how to deliver effective lessons.
I believe the best way to learn a language is by experiencing it.
So, in my lessons, we'll delve into real-life conversations and practical language skills, ensuring that you not only speak English fluently but also confidently in any situation."
I can also help you prepare for IELTS. With enough time and proper preparation, we can achieve a band of 6 and higher.
I am from Pakistan, and so my Native language is Urdu. It is a beautiful language, with creative idiomatic expressions and lofty vocabulary.
And I also offer to teach it to anyone interested.

Other than that, I like animals, and have pet birds: pigeons, budgies, and a pair of Indian Ringneck parrots.
I also have a 20 gallon aquarium, which I recently upgraded by adding live plants, and I'm struggling to keep them alive! :)
There's also a tortoise. Yea.
I also enjoy reading and do photography as a hobby.
