Hello I am Shingi. I have more than 7 years experience as an English teacher. I have a standard British accent and speak English at Native level. I am certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and I also have a Post Graduate Diploma in Education with a distinction in Teaching Practice. I also hold a Bachelors and Masters degrees.  I have taught young adults in university, in schools and in private tutor lessons. I am friendly, engaging and patient and do my best to meet your learning needs at whatever English level you are at. I believe in diversity and respect of all cultures and needs in my learning spaces.

I can help you improve your English language skills as a:
Beginner (Learning English for the first time)

General English conversation skills. 

Teaching young professionals.

My tutoring methods are very flexible. I make sure that content and tutoring tools are relatable, age appropriate and feel familiar and comfortable. For younger students I ensure that the learning environment is FUN, vibrant, colourful and energetic with use of melody, rhythm and interactive games. For older and professional students I ensure that learning methods are highly practical and that students can find themselves conversing coherently in conversations. So the use of role play and practical conversation techniques are very important.

I enjoy travelling a lot!! As well as learning from different cultures.
