Hi everyone. My name is Ruthann and I am from Jamaica. I have been teaching English for over 6 years and I am very passionate about it. Seeing my students succeed is my greatest motivation.
I am TEFL certified which makes me qualified to teach students of all ages and levels. I also have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism which has helped me to be a better communicator, and therefore a better teacher. I spent 3 years teaching in Japan and I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed traveling to different prefectures and seeing new places. I especially loved visiting the trick art museum and different flower parks.
My teaching style is student-centered which means students will get a chance to express themselves better, make mistakes and explore the language even more.
