Nice to meet you, I’m Keiki. :)
I was born in South Korea and came to Japan when I was in 6th grade of elementary school.
I have been living in Japan for around 20 years now. I am a native Korean speaker and hold a level 6 (the highest level) in the Korean Language Proficiency Test, but currently, my Japanese is slightly better.
I studied international culture at university, and after graduating, I also studied to become a mental health welfare worker.
I am now a mother of two.
I learned to overcome cultural differences, that everyone has their own path, and gradually gained confidence in myself. I have started to incorporate this experience into my teaching!
And once you have children, you become an 아줌마 (Ajumma; auntie), so I’m enjoying the path of being an an Ajumma! I want to support everyone using this strength :)
