공지사항

Shoji. T 프로필

Hello everyone! I am Shoji, a Japanese language and music teacher and an organist. Nice to meet you. I live in Tokyo.

About the lesson
My Japanese lessons are designed to help you study well and learn Japanese language with certainty! I will give you lessons while making sure of your wishes and the stage you are at in your Japanese studies.

I teach in three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
I offer, Japanese daily conversation, Japanese grammar check and correction, business Japanese, academic writing, preparation for Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT/JLPT). I provide lesson programs according to students' needs.

I also welcome lessons in which students say, “I want to try conversing in Japanese,” or “I want my Japanese to be checked by a native speaker.”

Japanese is a highly contextual language. It is a language that contains more information than just the meaning of words. Therefore, understanding of culture and customs is essential to Japanese language learning.

We encourage you to communicate with us about Japanese culture, customs, and ways of thinking, regardless of grade! Please let me know about your country's culture and customs as well.

Language used in lessons
I use only Japanese in my lessons so that you can think and understand in Japanese. I will also communicate in English when necessary. I recommend the Japanese Direct Teaching Method.

About the textbook
You do not need a textbook for the lessons. However, for students who wish to have a text book for their own study, I will introduce a lesson text book for use in the lessons.

The camera is basically ON for the lesson. This is because I ask students to look at the pictures and characters I have prepared for the lesson to practice introducing words and changing endings. Especially for intermediate level students and above, the camera is necessary to study both spoken and written expressions after reading Japanese sentences first.

If you want to have daily conversation lessons or speech lessons in Japanese, you can turn off the camera! (I also turn off the camera at that time).
