I’m an English teacher living in Japan. I come from a mixed Kenyan and Scottish family and grew up in an international school with friends from many cultures. I love meeting new people and hearing different stories and ideas!

When I was younger, I found English difficult—even though it was one of the languages we spoke at home. I was shy and didn’t know how to express myself. But one teacher really encouraged me, and slowly, I started to grow. That experience showed me how much a kind, patient teacher can help.

Now, I want to be that kind of teacher for my students. 

I like to keep things simple, relaxed, and fun.
We can talk about your favorite things—like food, music, hobbies—and use them to practice English.
You don’t need to be perfect. I’ll help you feel comfortable and confident, step by step.
